On a sunny days like these, I pulled out on of my oldest dresses that I still keep in my closet (that's an honor that only few pieces in my closet have, from the poor others I get rid of pretty fast). I bought this dress 12 years ago on a little store on Washington Square in NY (it was in those days when I had a dream to move to New York and became a known painted artist, that every gallery in town would chase for an approval to show my paintings, and of course I will do art just for the soul not for the money, I wouldn't be needing any.. I will live in the upper east.. or west.. I wouldn't argue on the side. Nice... right ?) When I wear this dress (and it's not often) I remembering the NY vacation that's ..let's face it.. no gallery in New York even know my existences..and nobody is chasing after me to show my works.. but especially I remembering the adorable store on Washington square that don't exists any more but her "legacy" do.
בימים שמשיים שכאלו, אני מוציאה את אחת השמלות הישנות שלי שאני עדיין שומרת בארון (שזה כבר בפני עצמו כבוד ששמור למעטי ויקרים לי.. מהיתר אני פשוט נפטרת די מהר). קניתי את השמלה הזו בערך לפני 12 שנים בחנות קטנה בכיכר וושינגטון בניו יורק (זה היה באותם ימים שהיה לי חלום.. לעבור לניו יורק ולהפוך לציירת ידועה ומפורסמת.. שכל גלריה בעיר תרדוף אחרי האישור להציג את העבודות שלה. וכמובן שאני אצייר רק בשביל הנשמה.. חס וחלילה לא בשביל הפרנסה, כי אני לא ממש אצטרך כזאת. אני אגור באפר-איסט סייד.. או באפר-ווסט.. לא ממש משנה לי-לא אתעקש על הצד אתם יודעים.. נחמד... לא ?) כשאני לובשת את השמלה הזו אני נזכרת באותה חופשה בניו יורק.. שבוא נודה על האמת.. אף גלרייה לא ממש מודעת לקיומי.. ואף אחד לא ממש רודף אחרי שאציג את העבודות שלי.. אבל בעיקר נזכרת באותה חנות קטנה בכיכר וושינגטן שכבר לא קיימת יותר אבל ה"מורשת" שלה כן.
